Minnesota Population Center. Integrated Public Use Microdata Series, International: Version 7.1 [dataset]. Minneapolis, MN: IPUMS, 2018. https://doi.org/10.18128/D020.V7.1
IPUMS-International is an effort to inventory, preserve, harmonize, and disseminate census microdata from around the world. The project has collected the world's largest archive of publicly available census samples. The data are coded and documented consistently across countries and over time to facilitate comparative research. IPUMS-International makes these data available to qualified researchers free of charge through a web dissemination system. Historical census data from Canada, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Germany, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and the United States for the period 1703 to 1911 are now available from IPUMS-International. These historical datasets were previously disseminated by the North Atlantic Population Project (NAPP).
Data are available by request to registered IPUMS-INTL users. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Archived versions of the data have been stored in fixed format files with accompanying documentation and set-up files. The full data set has been broken into appropriate subsets reflecting the content and usage of the data.
IPUMS-INTL data are continually revised. We archive annual snapshots and document changes between snapshots. The changes made to Version 7.1 before we archived Version 7.2 occurred between 12-15-2018 and 9-24-2019 on the current revisions page.
