Minnesota Population Center. Integrated Public Use Microdata Series, International: Version 6.5 [dataset]. Minneapolis, MN: University of Minnesota, 2017. https://doi.org/10.18128/D020.V6.5
IPUMS-International is an effort to inventory, preserve, harmonize, and disseminate census microdata from around the world. The project has collected the world's largest archive of publicly available census samples. The data are coded and documented consistently across countries and over time to facilitate comparative research. IPUMS-International makes these data available to qualified researchers free of charge through a web dissemination system.
Data are available by request to registered IPUMS-INTL users. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Archived versions of the data have been stored in fixed format files with accompanying documentation and set-up files. The full data set has been broken into appropriate subsets reflecting the content and usage of the data.
IPUMS-INTL data are continually revised. We archive annual snapshots and document changes between snapshots. The changes made to Version 6.5 before we archived Version 7.0 occurred between 10-27-2017 and 5-23-2018 on the current revisions page.
