IPUMS-PMA is a harmonized data collection of Performance Monitoring for Action [formerly known as Performance Monitoring and Accountability 2020], a high-frequency survey for the measurement of progress toward Family Planning 2020 goals. It consists of individual-level and facility-level microdata collected through household, female, and service delivery point surveys about family planning behaviors, water, sanitation, health, nutrition, and reproductive health care provision in 11 countries of Africa and Asia.
Data are available by request to registered IPUMS-PMA users. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Archived versions of the data have been stored in fixed format files with accompanying documentation and set-up files. The full data set has been broken into appropriate subsets reflecting the content and usage of the data.
IPUMS-PMA data are continually revised. We archive annual snapshots and document changes between snapshots. The changes made to Version 6.0 before we archived Version 7.0 occurred between 2021-09-29 and 2022-03-16 on the current revisions page
